Candidates for the 2009 Poker Hall of Fame Announced

After over five weeks of taking nominations, the people have decided on 10 candidates to be considered for the Poker Hall of Fame. WSOP.com took nominations from people all over the globe to find out who should be considered for this prestigious nomination. After candidates are nominated, these selected few will be judged by a council to evaluate several areas of expertise related to poker. Once this has been decided, Members of the Poker Hall of Fame will decide on the winner. They will consider the person’s competition, stakes, respect of others, and longevity.
After tallying up the votes for nominations, the following names will go before the council for deliberation:
