When I came back from taking Party Poker qualifier Jordan Handrich's picture, a friend of hers asked me how many chips she had. I told him it didn't matter and we both laughed. We know Jordan's game.
Jordan has only been playing about two years now, but she took to it like a shark takes to water. She's one of those players that is persistently, but not overly, aggressive. She knows how to build a stack. I've played with Jordan many times online, but have also had the opportunity to see her live game as well. I watched her win a seat for the WPO main event in 2005 in a super...and she was super.
It's players like Jordan that make me believe in WSOP online qualification. Jordon went on to law school after college. At this point, she has more school loans than bankroll. She's a talented player that just can't dedicate $10,000 on one event.
As predicted, Jordan Handrich survived Day One and will play her Day Two on Wednesday.
