PPA releases roll call list for Online Gambling Prohibition Act

By: Tuscaloosa Johnny – October 02, 2006

You can see which members of the House of Representatives voted for or against the bill that banned online poker and those who sponsored a bill that would have studied the issue further here.

Johnny, that's a list of people in the House of Representatives who voted for the bill. What about the senators who voted for the bill over the weekend?

I can't seem to find that info anywhere, and I'd like to know before election day...

the amendment was passed by a voice vote -- yea or nay. will try to find the senate roll call vote for the safe ports act. i am pretty sure both texas senators voted for it, and teddy kennedy abstained.

Dan Michalski – October 3, 2006 – 3:35am

Senate passed it by unanimous consent, which means Frisk (as the majority leader) stood up and was read the bills coming over from the House and essentially said "Yea, we like that one, it's cool"; but in a much more formal and procedural method, of course. No one objects; it passes. So in essence, they all voted yes.

i still think kennedy abstained.
