RE: PPL

By: Dan Michalski – October 08, 2006

I wonder if Negreanu can cough up the $50K - which apparently was the penalty on the non-disclosure form the media had to sign.

I heard a number of pros opted out.

Chan, Hellmuth, and Liebert are obviously missing - I suspect some or all of them declined. I heard Hachem said no. I heard Raymer wasn't asked.

But the real proof of the PPL pudding is the funding. "No bucks, no Buck Rogers."

"no bucks, no buck rogers?" i don't get it. And how do you not invite Raymer?

Dan Michalski – October 8, 2006 – 11:27pm

Dan, you suck at movie references.

The movie: The Right Stuff

The quote:

Gordon Cooper: You know what makes this bird go up? FUNDING makes this bird go up.

Gus Grissom: He's right. No bucks, no Buck Rogers

I suspect that our women might be cheering Team 4. I will have $10 on 8.

**Dan, you suck at movie references.**

Guilty as charged. I have seen a movie or two, however. Just not Rounders.

And Steve, I'm not sure you are allowed to make that wager online. $10 says maybe.

I thought there was a set list of the 48 players available to draft from, so there would be no one left out.

In Daniel's forum, he mentioned Hellmuth wanted extra money and a private jet and was denied. Also from his blog before the draft was held, I got the impression that the funding/sponsorships were in place already.

Also, Kenna James was on Live at the Bike last night and mentioned it was starting in January. Take that for what it's worth.

No Dan Harrington!!

This should be really really interesting. Negreanu's post was awesome. He's totally gay over the whole thing.

I may just join him depending on how this pans out.
