Yesterday evening, faced with an unexpected yet very much welcome early end to the day's play, several members of the PokerBlog.com staff decided to head out for a nice meal (Jennifer wanted to make sure it included good wine). As far as restaurants in the Rio go, I highly recommend Antonio's if you're looking for a nice location with equally good food. It's the perfect place to celebrate a special occasion, or to just enjoy a relaxing meal with good friends.
After our meal was over and we'd had a few scotchs and cigars, one member of our party suggested we play poker. We've been watching it nearly non-stop for weeks now, but rarely do we get the chance to sit down at the felt ourselves. Casinos were suggested, and we decided that the MGM Grand would offer us the best chance for getting a table opened up just for us.
