The Ladies International Poker Series (LIPS) Tour is founding the Women in Poker Hall of Fame, which will be located at Binion's Gambling Hall & Hotel, the original home of the World Series of Poker.

The first four women who will be inducted into the Hall are Marsha Waggoner, Susie Isaacs, Barbara Enright and Linda Johnson.

This first foursome will be inducted during a luncheon at Binion's on Feb. 2. We can expect a new Women in Poker display next to the Poker Hall of Fame gallery in the Binion's Poker Room.

A very worthy and deserving tribute. I would, however, ask the nominating committee that next year they consider poker playing women from outside the United States (Marsha Waggoner was born is Brisbane, Australia; now resides in California).
