One of my poker buddies told me he had loaded a new toolbar that gave him current information on poker tournaments about to begin. Now I only play on one site but I found out I can adjust the new toy to list any one or two or ten poker sites. This means only the tournaments I want to see will come up on the toolbar scroll and I don't have to keep checking the sites homepage for upcoming start times. You can even adjust the text so that only the Omaha or Hold'em or Razz tournaments are displayed.
It's a nice new toy whether you play one site or a dozen. Some of the press release about the toolbar is copied below.
Poker Portal has launched a free Poker Tournaments Toolbar for poker players around the world containing a constantly updated live daily tournament schedule from 20+ of the top poker rooms. Players can configure the toolbar to include or exclude specific poker rooms and use text filters to tailor the tournament schedule.
The toolbar collects poker tournament feeds from the top online poker rooms, sorting them into chronological order and serving them to players according to each player's requirements. The toolbar translates the start time of each tournament into the correct timezone for each individual player and is compatible with both the Internet Explorer and Firefox browsers.
